Colour marking of the cover: blue. Filler: 3,2% sodium citrate 1:9. Coagulation investigation: prothrombin, thromboplastin, fibrinogen, coagulation factors. Tube for blood collection shouldn’t be used for coagulation tests immediately after venipuncture as tissue thromboplastin extracted during a puncture can affect the results. Venous tourniquet should be removed during blood drawing into the tube. Immediately after blood collection tube is carefully turned upside-down 5-7 times for better stirring of blood and anticoagulant. Right after that the quantity of collected blood should be checked: upper limit must be on the level of sky blue stripe on the label. Optimal conditions of storing the tube with the blood sample is the temperature of 20–24 °С and investigation of coagulative characteristics and factors of blood coagulation must be conducted in 2 hours immediately after blood collection. Centrifugate the tube with coagulated blood not less than 10 minutes with 240 G acceleration.
